City of Montgomery Approves Visionary Plan for Downtown

Coming soon, the new and improved downtown! Montgomery City Council approved a comprehensive downtown master plan on November 9th. Rebecca Huss, the Montgomery Economic Development Corp. president, shared that the main vision of this plan is to maintain the history of downtown while adding modern elements. 

Some of the improvements will include improved parking, pedestrian experiences, streetscapes, adding sidewalks, and more! The plan includes a variety of projects up to 10 years out, totaling more than $12.25 million.
