Downtown Conroe Celebrates Christmas On Main

Downtown Conroe is prepared to spread the Christmas spirit throughout the community of Conroe. On Tuesday, December 1 at 6:00 p.m. the annal tree lighting will take place at Heritage Park followed by Christmas on Main on the streets of Main, Simonton and Metcalf, where spectators can see the World-Famous Clydesdale horses.
Music can be enjoyed by The Jazz Connection at the Founder’s Plaza at 7:00 p.m. and Christmas carolers from the Montgomery County Choral Society will stroll the 2 blocks down Simonton or Metcalf.
Local business will participate in window display contests in which visitors can drop a wooden token into a decorated gift box to vote for their favorite display. Raffle tickets can also be purchased at merchants to enter a drawing for four bicycles donated by Bleyl Engineering and Councilman Todd Yancy. The drawing will take place at 8:15 at Founder’s Plaza.
