Free Boaters Education Class Offered For Montgomery County Residents

Does Fairwater community’s close proximity to Lake Conroe have you considering ways in which you can safely navigate the lake?
Deputy Joey Ashton with the Precint 1 Constable’s office lake division will be hosting a free toaster education class for Montgomery County residents. The monthly classes will begin March 20 until summer.
The free class will be held at the San Jacinto River Authority building at 1577 Dam Site Road, Conroe and will cover boating safety and responsibility, general information about boats and boating laws.
Participants will become certified through the state upon completion of the course and passing exam. In the state of Texas, individuals born after Sept. 1, 1993 are required to be certified in order to operate a boat.
