Lake Creek HS Cross Country boys are STATE BOUND for the first time!

Congratulations to the Lake Creek High School Cross Country teams for their latest victory at the Region III-5A Cross Country Championships at the Kate Barr Rose Park on Tuesday.
The boys finished in third place, missing the spot for second by only three points. This is an impressive improvement from last year when they finished seventh. The boys advance to STATE and compete in Round Rock on Saturday, November 5th.
Although they did not advance to state as a team, the girls finished strong in 7th place.
Sophomore Emma Bass finished in 15th overall, advancing to state as an individual!!
The LCHS Cross Country Coach, Kevin Spruill, shared, “I couldn't be more proud of this group of athletes! They have earned this opportunity through the work they've put in all season long. This is the first Cross Country team in Lake Creek history to advance to the State Meet."
