Lake Creek Lions Softball Team Remains Undefeated

The Lake Creek Lions softball team remains undefeated in District 20-5A after defeating the rival Montgomery Lady Bears 13-0. Lake Creek ranks No. 4 in the state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.
The Lions coach Michelle Rochiniski states, “We’re hitting the ball well right now, and our pitching has been extremely strong, but our defense has been there to back up our pitching as well.”
Lake Creek have come away with nine shutouts and outscored their opponents 131-13 this season. With the 2020 season being cut short due to COVID-19, the team is motivated to finish what they started last season.
