Montgomery ISD Phase Into On-Site Instruction

Students of Fairwater, zoned to the highly rated Montgomery ISD, began their remote learning experience on August 13, 2020. All students were required to begin remote learning through September 4. Families were all given the option to continue learning remotely or to begin tradition, in person learning.
Montgomery ISD is continuing to monitor the safety of staff and students and remain committee to a successful year. The district will continue to follow TEA guidelines concerning health and safety. In order to ensure safety measures, Montgomery ISD will phase identified groups to a traditional in-person learning. The remainder of the students will have the option to return to in-person learning on September 8.
Specified elementary students will phase in as follows:
August 13 - September 4:
- Faculty students may return with parents for remote learning
August 17 - September 4:
- PreK and Kindergarten
- Students receiving special education services
- Students without internet access
- Students identified as having dyslexia
Specified secondary students will phase in as follows:
August 13 - September 4:
- Faculty students may return with parents for remote learning
August 17 - September 4:
- Students receiving special education services
- Students without internet access
- Students identified as having dyslexia
- Select CTE classes and organizations
August 31 - September 4:
- Grades 6 - 9
Montgomery ISD is planning for a great year and will remain dedicated to the safety of students and staff.
