Montgomery ISD Pilots Late Arrival Program

Starting November 4, Montgomery ISD will begin piloting a late arrival program for the secondary schools grades 6 - 12. This Late Arrival Bell Schedule will be occurring on Wednesdays Nov. 4th, 11th, 18th and Dec. 2nd and 9th.
Students should arrive on campus no later than 10:15 am for their classes that will begin at 10:20 am. Breakfast and lunch services will still be available for students on late arrival days and busses will run later in the morning. The students will attend all classes for instruction and work.
Working in a hyrbrid model has increased the demand and workload on teachers. The additional time on Wednesday mornings will assist teachers in planning their lessons in order to support both in-class and remote learning students.
The district is appreciative of the students and families for their flexibility and cooperation during these adjustments.
