The 186-acre waterfront resort previously known as La Torretta Lake Resort & Spa has been transformed into a vacation destination. As reported by the Houston Chronicle, the Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville Resort will have 300 guest rooms, signature dining options, swim-up bars, an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, outdoor pools, spa, 24-hour fitness center, main 20-story hotel tower, waterfront villas situated along Lake Conroe and a lazy river.
The resort has several measures in place to ensure safety practices amidst COVID-19. Along with social distancing practices, the resort will have reduced capacity as mandated by the state, continuous resort sanitization, disposable menus, hand sanitizer stations and face masks will be available, and elevator limitations. The Margaritaville Resort will continuously monitor the situation and make changes as needed.
