Crighton Theatre Features “The Odd Couple”
February 04, 2021
The historic Crighton Theatre has put on more than 100 performances following their restoration in 1999. While shows have slowed down during the pandemic, Stage Right was able to bring the delightful “Peter Pan” during the holiday season.
The newest production coming to the Crighton is Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” directed by Melody Montez. This iconic comedy opens on Feb. 12 and runs through Feb. 28. Montez has chosen actor John Barton to play the role of Oscar, while Robert Faber takes on the role of the nervous character Felix.
The show consists of a small cast of 8 and Montez planned a small crew in order to keep the production within manageable limits during COVID. Her goal was to bring something enjoyable to the audience during this time.
Seating will be limited in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines. For tickets call the Box Office 936-441-7469 or go to crightontheatre.org.
